Molecular formula: (C6H10O5)2n(NH2RCOOH)
Specification: 2%TKL, 2%AS, 1%AS, 0.5%AS.
Physical and chemical properties:
1) Appearance: Off white powder.
2) Solubility: Soluble in water.
3) Odor: No
4) pH: 4.5-5.5
5) Stability: Stable in room temperature, no mixture with acidic and alkaline media.
Toxicity: Low toxicity. Acute oral LD50(rat)>5000mg/kg. Acute percutaneous LD50(rat) >2000mg/kg.
Mode of action:
When spray on plant, Lentinan can enter in cell quickly, improve the ability of resistance, increase photosynthetic efficiency, make leaf thicken, increase the content of sugar, amino acid and protein, restrain copy of virus.
It is biologic agent, which has the function of protecting and mainly be used on virus diseases. Because of abundant amino acid, it can also increase yield and improve the ability of resistance.
Lentinan is a widely used broad-spectrum fungicide to control a wide range of virus disease, such as TMV, rice stripe virus disease, CMV, MRDV, mosaic virus etc. On tomato, cucumber, green paper, water melon, tobacco and so on. It is belong to protection fungicide, so we would better to use it before disease stage or initial disease stage.
